THE FORUM STORY













It's going to include as many members as I can squeeze in. The story will be released in chapters. ie. like a comic comes out with a new edition every Thursday. But for this I will release a new chapter atleast once in two days

So far, I have made a list of members who are going to be in this story. However, what role you will play, whether you will be good or evil and who your friends are going to be is a secret.

Here's a list of members in the story: (Press ctrl+F and search your name to see if you are included. If you aren't included, then don't worry, you will probably be added at some point in this story.)

Hey everyone!

The admin team and I are still going through the job applications for Pandora, thanks very much for submitting them, however we have made a few promotions already in advance. Welcome all the new forum moderators! You can reveal yourself here.

We also have 2 new Global Moderators: Muncho, a very active and dedicated member who's always willing to help out the community, and Zorc who has much knowledge of the forums. These are the only global mods we will be promoting as of now, so if you applied for that, consider your application unsuccessful, sorry about that. However, if we think you suit a Forum Mod role, we'll still give you a message! Otherwise, feel free to submit a new forum mod app of your own We are backlogged though and working as fast as we can, so expect longer than usual response times.

Onto the bad news now... Unfortunately Mudkipz, our good friend has been thinking of stepping down for a while, and today is the day it's revealed. Thanks very much for everything you done for us Mudkipz, you were one of the next in line for administrator so it's a huge shame to see you leave the team, but everyone has their reasons and at the end of the day, we must continue the forums with our heads held high. Seriously though, thank you.

I'll get more job apps sorted ASAP, specifically RPG staff apps since I might need a bunch of help running those areas

And remember, even if you don't get any position, you're in the same place you started, and it's not like you're just going to stay here if you have a job to do right? I mean, being a normal member is awesome anyway! Go post some more topics for us and try again when you feel ready ^^ Remember, unlimited apps anytime! (pst, just don't go overboard XD)

) How do you introduce yourself?

Ans: The one, the only, the all knowing ALEONY!!!

2) What do you think of PTD, HTD, and what do you think should definitely be added to PTD 2?

Ans: i really liked PTD yet i thought the updates were just a bit too slow which is understand able. HTD ive made a choice not to play untill its been made into a game with a story line.

3) Why do you love Sceptile so much?

Ans: i really dont know... my first favourite was loudred cause it was the first pokemon i saw. then lugia because it looked cool. then it became flygon because it also looked cool. and then back to lugia and then sceptile

4) What would your answer be if I told you the following, "Sceptile huh? That leafy thing?"

Ans: -.- Ur a leafy thing

5) Who do you like most on this forum?

Ans: Hm thats tough. i guess i like spending time with all my friends on the forum the most but the RP's and the yu gi oh section are a close second

6) What was your first contribution to this forum?

Ans: Oh very hard... i joined the forum WAY long back but i dont specificly remember what was my first contribution. i made more active and that really brightened up everyones day but chaihai was already doing that.

7) What was your best/favorite moment of this forum?

Ans: My favourite? they were the good old golden days. from when i reached my 50th post till my 500th post. i had lots of fun and i was spending time with all my dear friends

8) Which is your favorite Pokemon?

Ans: -.- funny question its a pikachu... what do u think it is? obvious isnt it? meh for the sake of answering: sceptile though flygon, ludred, lugia, and thundurus are really cool too

9) What is your favorite food?

Ans: oh very hard its has to be what my mom makes. they arre like fries except they are a little thinner and the shape of a circle. then they are coated with cheddar and mozerrala cheese then put in the oven. although my moms hot dog lasagna can claim first place too

10) What's the secret behind your name?

Ans: ive actually had 2 names that i have changed through. the first was mandrake. i was reading a book and mandrake was the bad guys name and i LOVED it. i still use the name today but aleony has tooken over. my other name is aleony. i gopt this name while i was playing dofus. i couldnt choose my name so i pressed ran dom name again and again then aleony came up once. i took it right aaway. from then on i kept changing from mandrake and aleony until the forums became my main time waster now i mostly use aleony.

11) If you used a different username, what would it be?

Ans: Mandrake its my secondary name im thinking of changing to it for a while

12) If you were a part of PTD, which character would you have been?

Ans: oh very hard. i would be a guy u is like a ninja and hides but can be seen in all the cutscenes if lookeed for VERY hard.

13) What's your favorite animal?

Ans: Cheetah. second fastest living thing in the world. fastest thing on legs

14)What's your hobby?

Ans: Spending time on the forums though watching a good show is always nice too. i also like reading about dinosaurs and ninja too

15) Do you drink Honey?

Ans: No.. unless puttig it in hot milk counts as dfrinking it...

16) Do you maintain a diary?

Ans: of course i do. i contain a lot. i contain all the diary of a wimpy kids

17) Lastly, how do you say goodbye?

Ans: Uh OH. lunch is over have to go back to class. oh and on a final note I PWN YOU ALL!!!!!!!!

The Case Of the FUS-RO-DAH...

Yesterday, as people were in a queue waiting to post their suggestions for the summer award nominations, a person standing at the back of the queue used FUS-RO-DAH! Instantly making the queue fly away. Then the mystery person cast his nomination and disappeared! Who could this line-breaking, FUS RODHING person be? Best answer wins!

Hello there! I see, you're interested in working for the forums? Well, we now accept unlimited application submissions. This means you can apply when you want, as many times as you want. However, there is a criteria you need to meet, or you're just going to be wasting your own time. The criteria is below:

Global Moderator	500	Trusted, active, loyal, creative.
Forum/Section Moderator	50	Active in relevant forum/section
RPG / Event Moderator	50	Active in RPG, willing to help.

This is a basic criteria, and may be overlooked if the application is exceptional. Note, after you pass the first stage of the application, a member of the Administrative team will be with you as soon as possible to discuss further; what the role involves, and answer any questions you may have.

If we do not respond within 14 days, please assume your application is unsuccessful this time, but you may apply again any time. Please do not pester staff members asking to check up on the application, we have the right to reject any application without any reason, or without having to share any reason.

This job is unpaid, however, as a member of the staff team, you will gain access to our staff forums, gain moderator powers around the forums and have the potential to bring greatness to these forums. If you have a bit of spare time kicking around, especially considering Summer is coming up, give an application a try. There is no limit on section/forum moderators, we're looking to make this one huge gaming forum, and we need every section active with an experience individual to look over it.

After careful consideration and looking into the possibilities of domains etc, I think it'll be best if we go with Pandora Gaming Network (PGN). A lot of votes went towards Pandora Box/Central etc, and although they're just as good, having the domain "pandoragaming" will be more successful than box or central. Although Google focuses on content more than domain names, a domain will definitely help on whether you go top or bottom of a list. (Age of domain, keywords of the domain) etc etc. So, unless there are any major major complaints, I'm happy to announce us

As said, we will continue catering for Pokemon Tower Defense and Sam, but now we have a huge extra chunk of stuff to do. I'll start adding new themes and editing old ones to have our new title. I'll also get the new domain locked and loaded.

We now need to discuss usergroup promotions, member titles, emoticons, and all that fun stuff. If you have any ideas, lemme hear it!
