I heard this on the Pandora streets the other day...
I think MV is planning with his group to cause a riot and overthrow Gforce finally beat a lugia with a Magikarp.
I'm sure that voice sounded like MV. At times, I could hear Snowy and Sonic's voice with it too... Next thing you know, Marc and Unsharped will be screaming it too.

Q: What's your name? As in, real life or even nickname? A: Louie. As in, Mafia Louie. Or at least, that's how my friends call me. It's a bit annoying, as that's not even my real name (Gotcha there! ).
Q: Lucky eh? So, what be so lucky about you, son? o.- A: I lived through the perils of PETA! They're really the Illuminati, trying to keep all the Pokemon to themselves! Spread the word!
Q: What is your first memory of Pokemon? A: When I was born. I remember watching tapes of Pokemon on VCR (not sure why my household didn't upgrade to a DVD recorder until years later). I think a peculiar episode, where the Pichu Brothers starred in, was when I started gaining an interest in Pokemon.
Q: How did you find out about PGN and what brought you here? A: Simple! I like strategy games. And Pokemon. So I searched "Pokemon Strategy Defense" into my local search engine. Had some questions about the game, so I signed up on the old forums, before moving here, before I started getting active. Rather uneventful, huh?
Q: *holds a light on your face* Tell me, WHAT DID YOU DO? What DID you DO!? A: I did nothing! I swear! All I did was sacrifice my winning streaks to Demogorgon!
*cough*
... AM I BEING PROBED AGAIN!
Q: *ahem* Are there better love stories out there than Twilight? If so, which one (you can even just tell us which your favourite movie is, irrespective of genre) A: Yes! There's a really good one right here: <- See? It's ALL about a nerdy line. And hippy scribbles.
Q: What's your favourite game so far? A: "Game? What game? This is not a game... could THIS be a game?" My favorite game, currently, is the Platinum title. At the number of 493 Pokemon, I think that'd satisfy everybody's hunger for more Pokemon. Oh, and that's when competitive battling "improved" with the stat splits!
Q: How do you find the forums so far? A: Great! Every time I come back.
Q: Favourite PGN moments? A: (Late) April Fools! These are generally unexpected and fun!
Q: What's the one thing you really need to do right now, but are really lazy to do? A: I don't know, can you suggest something school-related? I haven't done something like that in awhile.
Q: What's your favourite food? A: Soylent Green! You can find some near your local butchery. It's made out of healthy plankton.
Q: Favourite animal that resembles Pokemon? A: Tortoises! Fish! Butterflies! Voles! Tortoises! Squirrels! I like tortoises.
Q: If you could speak in another language, what would it be? Write a few lines below from that language! A: Sign! *mimes out* Actually, no... morse! *flashes* ... Wait, no.
Snobro: Wahaha! YES, you're being PROBED! You're ALWAYS going to get probed!
Snowy: Snobro! And to think only I went bersek...
Snobro: You're ALWAYS bersek Snowy...
Snowy: Ehh... That's true...
Snobro: Uhh.. did Lucky just fall asleep?
*poke poke*
*Wakes Lucky up*
Sou! As we were saying, great interview dude! Especially loved the video you shared with us!
Very entertaining.
Snowy: Changed my conception about balls... and lines and.. things too.. Was that maths? I don't know maths.
You're a smart Pichu.
Snobro: Loved the part when you spoke in Latin. This interview was super fun!
Snowy: Hope you keep this little gift that we have to offer you from the team. Thank you for the interview, Lucky!

Pokemon Spotlight - Charizard
Overview Charizard, the original Fire-type starter, has been a fan favorite since the beginning of Pokemon. It has a decent offensive typing, a good Special Attack stat, and the movepool to back it up, making it a good sweeper, especially when the sun is out. Additionally, while its physical Attack is not the best around, it boasts a good physical movepool and can learn 3 physical boosting moves: Swords Dance and Dragon Dance will increase its sweeping capabilities, while Hone Claws increases its accuracy as well, allowing it to use less-accurate Special moves such as Fire Blast. Unfortunately, the passing generations have generally not been kind to Charizard. It was already severely hampered by its less-than-stellar defenses and mediocre Speed, but Generation 3 brought abilities, which gave Charizard no help while bringing abilities like Thick Fat into play. Generation 4 gave us Stealth Rock, which halves Charizard's health upon switching in. But Generation 5 brought the worst to the table: Scald, which not only is super-effective but likely to burn it, Hidden Abilities, which brought Drizzle out of Ubers, and about ten and a half thousand Water-types (okay, maybe that last one was an exaggeration.) But Generation 6 was the light at the end of the tunnel for Charizard. With the advent of Mega Evolutions, Charizard was lucky enough to receive TWO Mega forms, both of which are excellent upgrades and provide Charizard with better abilities and stats.
Abilities Blaze - The standard Fire-type starter ability, Blaze increases the power of Charizard's Fire-type moves if its health falls below 1/3 of its maximum. This is not a very useful ability, as Charizard is more likely to get KOed outright before it gets a chance to use its boosted moves. Solar Power - Charizard's Hidden Ability. Solar Power boosts Charizard's Special Attack by 1.5x in the sun, but drains its health every turn. While it is slightly better than Blaze, Solar Power's damage can rack up quite quickly unless you are carrying Leftovers or a Shell Bell. Additionally, as weather abilities are no longer permanent, it can be much harder to obtain the boost in the first place.
Movesets
Sun Sweeper -Fire Blast/Flamethrower -Solarbeam -Air Slash/Dragon Pulse -Roost/Defog Item: Leftovers Ability: Solar Power Timid Nature 252 SpA/4 Def/252 Spe This set's theme is simple. Get Charizard out when the sun is up, and use its Solar Power-boosted moves to sweep through the opposition. Fire Blast is a powerful STAB move, dealing ridiculous damage in the sun even when resisted. Solarbeam takes care of Rock-, Ground- and Water-types that could cause trouble for Charizard. Air Slash and Dragon Pulse are both viable options for the third attacking slot. Air Slash will hit Fighting-types harder before they can use their abundant Rock-type moves while also hitting Dragon-types neutrally. Dragon Pulse is more accurate and will hit Dragon-types harder, but will be walled completely by Fairy-types. Roost is generally the better option in the fourth moveslot, but Defog can be used as well if you're having trouble with Spikes, Toxic Spikes, or dual screens.
Other Options: You could use both Roost and Defog to take care of all types of hazards rather than taking a third coverage moves. Hidden Power Ground is also a possibility to take out Electric- and Fire-types.
Mixed Attacker -Hone Claws -Fire Blast -Solarbeam -Outrage/Dragon Claw Item: Leftovers/Life Orb/Lum Berry Ability: Blaze Lonely Nature 100 Atk/152 SpA/252 Spe This set is more centered on wallbreaking. Sun support is still greatly appreciated, powering up Fire Blast and removing the charge time of Solarbeam. Hone Claws will allow Charizard to use its mediocre Attack stat more effectively, while also allowing Fire Blast to hit more often. Fire Blast is a powerful and accurate STAB after a Hone Claws even without sun support. Solarbeam makes for great coverage, and Outrage can surprise special walls with physical damage. If a Fairy-type switches in to block, Charizard will immediately be able to switch moves without being confused. However, one must be wary if a Fairy-type switches in after a KO, as Charizard will still be locked into Outrage (or confused.) If this is unappealing, Dragon Claw will allow you to switch moves freely for a drop in power. As this set is designed to break through walls, Life Orb is a viable item, but the damage can add up quickly. Leftovers can help Charizard out-sustain walls and tanks, so it is another good choice. Lastly, a Lum Berry could help Charizard avoid paralysis or poison at a crucial moment, or snap it out of Outrage's confusion immediately.
Other Options Flame Charge can boost Charizard's mediocre Speed while also getting the sun boost for decent power. Power-up Punch could be used over Hone Claws for a little more damage, though you might want to use Flamethrower in place of Fire Blast if you choose to make this change.
Teammates Ninetales is basically a required teammate for standard Charizard. A lot of Charizard's power hinges on sun support, so teammates that can take down opposing weather users are quite helpful. Rotom-W can take down both Politoed and the sandstorm setters, and it greatly appreciates Charizard's general removal of Grass-types. Breloom is also able to fight the opposing weather users, and Charizard can get rid of troubling walls for it. Hazard removal is also a necessity for Charizard if you aren't using Defog. Donphan is a great partner for Rapid Spinning, as its Water-type weakness is mitigated by the sun, and Charizard wipes out opposing Grass-types (and Water-types with Solarbeam), while Donphan defeats Electric- and Rock-types handily.
Mega Evolutions
Charizard is currently the only Pokemon with 2 Mega Evolutions, and both improve on Charizard's major issues. Charizard X gains great mixed power, a better ability, and halves the Stealth Rock weakness along with a better defensive stat. Charizard Y also gets a major ability buff and has its Special Attack boosted to the level of a legendary Pokemon. It also gets a Special Defense boost, which combined with its new ability gives it a much better chance versus Water-types.
Mega Abilities Tough Claws - Mega Charizard X's ability, Tough Claws boosts the power of contact moves by 30%. This, combined with Charizard X's physical Attack increase, is excellent considering its great movepool. Drought - Mega Charizard Y's ability, Drought completely removes the need for Ninetales support, allowing Charizard to set up the sun on its own. This complements its massive Special Attack boost, powering up its Fire Blasts and Solarbeams to insane levels while weakening Water-type attacks aimed at the flying lizard.
Comparison Neither Mega Evolution is really better than the other. It's down to preference and the role that you want Charizard to play. Charizard X is better at wallbreaking and can function extremely well as a boosting sweeper, while Charizard Y is far better at nuking down the opposing team.
Movesets
X-Treme Conditioning -Flame Charge -Power-Up Punch -Outrage/Dragon Claw -Earthquake Item: Charizardite X Ability: Tough Claws Adamant Nature 252 Atk/4 SpD/252 Spe This set centers around boosting Charizard's stats with Flame Charge and Power-Up Punch. While both are fairly weak, both get a Tough Claws boost, and Flame Charge gets STAB as well. Once you've got a boost or two, every move Charizard has becomes extremely threatening. While Flame Charge is fairly weak compared to other potential STABs, it gives a speed boost every time its used, and with both Tough Claws and STAB it reaches a respectable 97 Base Power. Power-Up Punch is almost solely for boosting, as even with Tough Claws it only has 52 Base Power. Outrage (or Dragon Claw if you don't want to be locked into a move) is a massively powerful STAB, melting any Pokemon that's not a Fairy- or Steel-type. While Flame Charge can help with these, Earthquake is a much better attack option for Pokemon not named Skarmory or Bronzong. You may need to use Power-up Punch to pop an Air Balloon as well (I'm looking at you, Heatran.) A notable difference between vanilla Charizard and this particular Mega form is that it has Dragon-typing. This removes the Water-type weakness, halves the Rock-type weakness and turns Electric-type into a resistance. However, it does become vulnererable to Ground- and Dragon-type moves, and it loses its resistances to Fairy- and Fighting-types.
Other Options: Flare Blitz could be used over Flame Charge for more damage right off the bat, though the recoil damage is unappealing. You could also get Fire Punch if you manage to bring a perfectly bred Charizard from Gen 5 (good luck with that...)
Wall Destroyer -Flare Blitz/Flame Charge -Outrage -Fire Blast -Roost Item: Charizardite X Ability: Tough Claws Naughty Nature 140 Atk/112 SpA/252 Spe Charizard X makes an excellent wallbreaker with its base 130 attacking stats. All it really needs are its STABs, as it is only resisted by Heatran. Flare Blitz is preferred here for its higher damage output, though Flame Charge is an option if you desire to use Charizard as a sweeper afterward. Outrage, once again, has amazing power, but must beware of Fairy-types attempting a revenge kill. Fire Blast is Charizard's special STAB, allowing it to deal with the likes of Hippowdon who could attempt to wall a full physical set, though it still must be wary of Earthquake. Roost will help mitigate Flare Blitz's recoil, as well as any damage it may incur.
Other Options: Fire Punch is once again an option, but it is not nearly as useful on a wallbreaking set as it has a lower Base Power. Flamethrower is in the same vein, though it does have a little more damage and better accuracy than Fire Blast.
Nuclear Missle -Fire Blast -Solarbeam -Dragon Pulse -Roost Item: Charizardite Y Ability: Drought Timid Nature 252 SpA/4 Def/252 Spe Charizard Y operates very similar to standard Charizard, but requiring less support as it can bring its own sun without taking up a moveslot. Fire Blast does insane damage under the sun, and Solarbeam hits what Fire Blast doesn't save for Dragon-types and Heatran. Dragon Pulse is the best option in the last spot despite lacking STAB, as it takes down the Dragon-types that wall Charizard's other moves. Roost is a necessary move, as Charizard Y is very vulnerable to Stealth Rocks.
Other Options: Air Slash is still available if you have trouble with Fighting-types, and Hidden Power is also available to cover specific threats.
Teammates Despite being very different Pokemon, both MegaZards like several of the same teammates. Donphan is great for spinning away hazards, as it can take down Electric- and Rock-types. Dragon-types appreciate the removal of Steel-types, as well as Charizard's ability to tank Fairy-type moves, while they can easily clean up troublesome Water-types. Charizard X enjoys having Breloom and Scizor as teammates, as it can take Fire-type moves aimed at him, while they can defeat Rock-types with ease. Breloom also can take down Ground-types, while Scizor gets rid of Fairy-types. Water-types also make good teammates, especially to deal with Heatran, as Charizard X can easily defeat Electric-types with Earthquake. Charizard Y is a great partner to Chlorophyll users, as they can easily defeat Water-types while it can block Fire-type moves. Venusaur in particular is a great partner, as it is very bulky and Growth gives double boosts in the sun. Fairy-types such as Florges are also nice partners, able to defeat Dragon-types that could otherwise wall it, while Charizard doesn't mind a Steel-type attack at all.
Checks and Counters Politoed is a big problem for Charizard. Even on a predicted switch, Drizzle will prevent an instant Solarbeam, and it can take Fire-type attacks especially well for the same reason. Tyranitar is another weather setter, and it can defeat Charizard one-on-one with its Rock-type STABs as well. While Terrakion can't switch in to everything, it can revenge kill Charizard with ease. Wobbufett presents a major problem to Charizard, though mixed sets could beat it, so be wary. Aerodactyl is faster and its STAB Rock-type moves are super effective. If Gengar, Alakazam, or Starmie have Thunderbolt, they can come in and revenge kill if Charizard isn't using Flame Charge, though this is less effective against Charizard X. In general, if you are faster than Charizard and have a powerful super effective move, you can revenge kill it.
A big credit to Ninja_Trainer for the above article! Please also vote in the poll (above this main thread) for what his next article should be about. Thank you!
CREEPY PASTA:By Ptd2fan

Spoiler: click to toggle
And here we have Ptd2fan speaking live from the Pandora Palace about today's weather hot creepy pasta news:
Urban Legends and Conspiracies are usually not my thing. But after someone told me about a form of stories that have been swimming around the internet, they are known as creepypastas. They are made to unnerve and shock the reader. After looking at some of these so called creepypastas. There are some written about Spongebob, King Of The Hill. And other well known stuff you might of heard about. She has also told me to look up some about Pokemon. There is one intresting one about ash being in a coma which caught my attention and I sort of agree with.
After searching around awile i have come up with a hypothesis of the conspiracy of lavender town
This one also has been swimming around the internet for some time now. This one focuses on the theme song for lavender town in Pokemon red and blue.
According to the pasta. This theory is coined as the Lavender Town Syndrome, The Lavender Town Tune, Or The lavender Town Suicides.
The song is said it has affected children 7-12 years. It says it affect only those between those ages due to their ears not being completely developed. There were reports stating they have started to feel Ill and some even commited suicide.
The Lavender Town Syndrome (also known as “Lavender Town Tone” or “Lavender Town Suicides”) was a peak in suicides and illness of children between the ages of 7-12 shortly after the release of Pokemon Red and Green in Japan, back in February 27, 1996. (The lavender town music is pretty evil, too…) Rumors say that these suicides and illness only occurred after the children playing the game reached Lavender Town, whose theme music had extremely high frequencies, that studies showed that only children and young teens can hear, since their ears are not fully developed.
Due to the Lavender Tone, at least two-hundred children supposedly committed suicide, and many more developed illnesses and afflictions. The children who committed suicide usually did so by hanging or jumping from heights. Those who did not act irrationally complained of severe headaches after listening to Lavender Town’s theme.
Although Lavender Town now sounds differently depending on the game, this mass hysteria was caused by the first Pokemon game released. After the Lavender Tone incident, the programmers programmed Lavender Town’s theme music to be at a lower frequency, and since children were no longer affected by it.
One video appeared in 2010 using a “special software” to analyze the audio of Lavender Town’s music. When
played, the software created images of the Unown near the end of the audio. This raised a, since the Unown didn’t appear until the Generation 2 games: Silver, Gold, and Crystal.Though this is very weird i have a link where you can find some more of this info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCj7h6cTpOg
Thank you Ptd2fan for the above article. What an interesting read!
PTD CORNER (With a GIVEAWAY included):BY MARC

PTD Corner
Today's spotlight is one of my favourite pokemon of all time – Volcarona!
Volcarona, a fire-bug type pokemon who seemingly has no contribution in a team with its not apparent special attack, speed, and limited move pool, is easily overlooked by choices like Heatran and Infernape. However, it has one of the most threatening stat moves: Quiver Dance.
Quiver Dance raises the user’s Special Attack, Special Defence and Speed by one stage. Quiver Dance six times, and Volcarona becomes an unstoppable killing machine.
Stat additions/Boosts are a rather effective strategy in PTD, since the stat boosts are kept for the entire level, even if you call your pokemon back. Added onto the great typing (Fire-Bug), it can easily kill opponents of all types.
Here’s a Volcarona set to think about: Heat Wave (level up) Bug Buzz (level up) Roost (First Gym TM) Quiver Dance (level up)
All of the moves chosen can be easily obtained through level up, and roost is one of the first TMs you get in the early game. Volcarona can easily live attacks, and the STAB from the Fire move Heat Wave and Bug move Bug Buzz provides it coverage, to easily kill enemy towers.
If you’re looking to save some money on boosters and potions, Volcarona is your choice. Although Volcarona has a 4x weakness to Rock that you should note, due to the nature of the game mechanics of PTD, you don't really have to tank a Stone Edge or Rock Slide, and so, as a frail killer, Volcarona seems to be pretty useful in PTD. THIS WEEK’S SPECIAL: From now until the next episode of PNN, free Volcaronas will be provided upon request. At request, a number between 1 and 100 will be generated, if it matches the number you choose, you can win a Shiny one!
A special thanks to Marc for the above article and giveaway!

1) Birthday Threads – Who’d suspect an evil group to be hiding, congratulating people on their birthdays? It’s here they can lurk, under the pretense that nothing is happening, and plan for apocalypse. Didn’t you see? Behind all the images and gifts, are secret conspiracy movements ;D (Oh btw, if I get it right, sue me for revealing my location. If I get it wrong, then it’s because I don’t wish to reveal my true being) 2) Volcarona – I’m not taking anything else other than Volcarona. What did you think I was going to use, Pidgey?
