(Sorry if this isn't in the correct section, didn't exactly fit in the Graphics and Creativity part of the forum.. please move if needed. Thanks!) Hello fellow Pandorians! I'm trying to.. like, get an image to be outside the canvas in sorts with GIMP. Here's an example of what I mean: Example from Poledoo's signature Here are screenshots of what I'm doing.. There's probably some easy way on how to do this, I'm just a graphics newbie. Any help would be appreciated, thanks! ![]() |

You pretty much just need to increase the canvas size to fit the gengar while keeping the background height smaller than the actual image height. Have an MS paint example!

The easiest way around this is going to View>Canvas size and increasing it. Or you can start with a large canvas, edit the layer attributes to alpha and work from there. After you're done, resize the canvas to fit your preferred size. Hope this helps |
