It looks pretty good, but maybe reduce the contrast? The red/orange with the black is a bit hard on the eyes

Good point. I'll try to play with the colors a bit more.

Made another sig. Any critique and comments?

The colour schemes that you're using are a little too monochromatic. It's fine to use the same colour, plenty of people do that but your tags all seem to be a similar shade of the same colour and so the whole image is bluring together.
Here's some pretty good colour theory tutorials:
http://www.dtelepathy.com/blog/design/color-theory (based mainly on design but the theory will help you lots)
and this is a full signature tutorial but it had a great bit about colours
http://senthrax.deviantart.com/art/Full-Signature-Tutorial-55042010

P.S I moved this to gallery, discussion is for discussion, gallery is for showing art work for comments :)

Thank you for the tutorials. For the first one I did add a layer mask of an incandescent gradient (gimp) to lower the tone a bit since I thought the colors of the original render didn't look that great

I do realize I like to stick to similar colors and well I could try work on that ;D

Plus I thought discussion was a better place. Gallery is something you want to show off and discussion is where you well... discuss about graphics

Lol, for me atleast it looks weird cause im a league player and im not used to seeing zed look that way :p But for the most part the sig looks real nice and I kinda like the red on black :3 And the second one I feel like the sword a bit to bright. I also love the font ;D Good work and they look very nice

Thanks for the feedback everyone!
Created something a while ago but never got around to posting it for feedback.

Apart from the render, everything is created with brushes

I agree with Neon with the colour scheme. I used to do this a lot and it takes away from the picture. Also be careful when using c4d as they can bring out the best in your picture or the absolute worse. You actually did a really good job using them for the zed one, but the other sig (the blue one with the guy holding the sword) messed with the render a bit and pixelated it.

Thanks for the feedback. I think the 2nd one looks decent, but is a bit to sharp and rough.
I actually used fractals as I'm not a big fan of c4ds

The new sig is great! Although you might want to smooth out the right shoulder color transition and either tone down the light bloom just a touch or lighten up the background immediately around the character. Contrast is nice, but there's a tiny bit too much for me.

Oh fractals are fun too. I'm not a huge fan of them because I like very simple backgrounds and fractals just complicate too much for me. (On a side note one of my friends wrote a ten page essay on fractals, the math behind them, and how to create them using complex numbers.)

Well I don't really copy and paste a fractal and use it as a background - I use a black channel, then smudge the render a bit to add color.
I use fractals to add light to the signature in places where I haven't been able to smudge to - add a little depth and texture to the enitre signature

It's actually pretty useful, i mean the effects can't be easily replicated with brushes
For example: Posted Image
This part i think adds a little flow to the entire sig - fractals :D
(Of course it could be used better xD since I'm still quite new to this)
