Haha, I did it! Of course I left 3 generators there but you can tell it wasn't hard to beat them up. But please, don't give me a shiny. Edited by Mirby22, Jan 31 2015, 09:16 PM.

Also, I would greatly appreciate it if you ban the reuse of my strat, because the next person to reuse it will win without thinking things through.

Nice Mirby, I was going to do something using Hone Claws but you beat me to it. And I guess using Coil wouldnt be right now either. Keen Eye and Follow Me both dont work on the boss moves so there goes my idea of showing 3 leveled up Furrets can beat one of last levels in the game. |

![]() Basically all Golem did was tank the accuracy drops Volcarona because he's my favourite pokemon. But honestly Xerneas did all the real work |

Oh god, traded for that dude from Sounak a while ago. Seems like I only abandoned one of them. Anyway, I only used it to take accuracy drops (As you can see that didn't work out that well) |

Yea I know, it wouldnt have made that much of a difference and I understood the strategy you were going for. Shows that all you really need for this level is 1, maybe 2 heavy hitters and some way to get around the accuracy drop. This is why it confuses me when Sam keeps nerfing the tournament levels. |

Honestly I have no idea why people find it so hard. I could probably beat it with 2 Xerneas. (1 might need loads of luck) Excadrill, my first strat, can do it in 1 as mirby has proven. I just did another run, 2x Victinis and 1x Arcanine. Forgot to take a screen though. |

I guess it's nice to test new ways to beat people like I realised after beating cilan ( I know I spelt it wrong) you know he's the guys who says "my dish was perfect, you need a little more seasoning" well I used 6 shiny primal groundons when later....I used 2 victini sand it was 100x easier...but that was a time when I had LLLAAAAMMMMEEEE pokemon |:P |

I just tried one of my ideas. Idk, either Sam didn't programme Follow me correctly or Ampharos' moves aren't programmed correctly. Anyway, it didnt work and Volcarona sustained accuracy drops regardless of Togekiss's follow me. |

Yea I already said that. Follow Me doesnt work on boss moves. I tried that with a Furret that should have both been the target of the accuracy drop and not suffered the drop because of their ability. The ability works but Follow Me doesnt. I've tried it with other boss moves and they dont work either. There are a few other mechanics that dont work either. Substitute doesnt prevent the accuracy drop (though I'm not sure if substitute works at all), Mirror Move wont copy it, lowering Ampharos's accuracy doesnt impact the move, lower speed doesnt impact the move's cooldown. So it looks to me like nothing that affects Ampharos's use of the move works but things that affect the target (such as Keen Eye) do work. Generally speaking, I dont think Sam put much thought into how non-damaging moves work. Torment (and similar moves) are cool but useless with a 60sec cooldown and their opposite, After You, was turned from a great move that needed a nerf into something boring. Mimic, Bide, Conversion... all have great potential to have a level crafted around them but instead are pointless. And I think Mean Look would be great to delay pokemon leaving with a Rare Candy but instead it does nothing. These are all moves I looked into trying to craft a strategy around them when the tournament came out but none of them worked out. Follow Me really annoyed me because when the level first came out and the challenge was only pokemon of a single type everyone was using Ground types. But I thought Tailwind (Pidgeot), Helping Hand and Follow Me (Furret) could set up a good Normal type team. Ohhh - and just thought of another strategy that could work - Haze to eliminate the accuracy drop, then boost as normal Edited by ThatGuyHim, Feb 3 2015, 09:39 AM.

Haha ThatGuyHim - you beat me to it. I was training up my Shiny Cofragrigus to do this again :p. With a team of Xerneas/Volcaronas, of course. Anyway, there are still some more OP strategys to beat Wattson. |
