When was the last time you made something? Be it a signature, drawing, or anything else? Care to share what it was?! :O

I still make sigs here and there. My most recent has been this series of 5 I finished that was a bit of a new take on an old style. I've only uploaded two and have access to the other 3 elsewhere, but here are the two I do have.

Warning a bit big

Woah Aleony, that actually looks really nice! Reminds me that I want to make some pop-up sigs soon. If i may ask, how did you make the border?

Border on the pop-up or the wavey one. On the pop-up you simply duplicate the render and use guassian blur set at ten on the layer underneath. For the wavey go to your background layer, duplicate, then use ripple on the bottom duplicated layer. Set the size to big, and I believe I kept the % at the default.

Well... not sure if this counts, but I could show a little sprite sheet I did for my friend.

Spoiler: click to toggle

Still needs work though. (The snake is supposed to be sticking it's head out a wall.)

Last thing I made was a custom Ukelele for my girlfriend. Painted it blue, sanded it and covered it in fault in our stars quotes.

This thing! Got back to making sigs and used gimp and did something random. Prominent features? The foggy borders (I hate straight borders that just cut off the sig), the every other line deleted (first time I tried that, but it looked interesting), my recently iconic splatter background (with a little green lightning bolt like thing in the middle that's supposed to stand out, but doesn't it), Gaussian blur on the render to give a glowing feel (almost always do that), and the overlayed text.

Guessing you did that on GIMP (judging by the splats or whatever they're called)
Like always, I love your style. Thinking it would look great if you made it a pop-up sig (with the render sticking out)

You really have a knack with graphics and colours... And you're really good at designing too.

You might really go a long way with this Aleony.

Your signatures are always one of my top favourites! :D

Love em, thanks for the share man!

Thanks for the kind words guys :D
Marc: Yes I did do it on GIMP, and the splats are called noise :P (specifically the pick filter), however you can do them on photoshop. There is a filter called splatter that works real nice, but because of the way it works you have to do some sort of distort (ripple? ocean ripple? something like that) first to make it look similar. Also I decided to do a popup one now that you mentioned it anyway xD.

Snowy: Thanks! Though I wouldn't say I have too much of a knack for colours, unlike most people I just reuse the colors of the render, because I think those are the colours that just work the best, so I really don't do that much xD.

New: While using GIMP I'm trying out a bunch of new features and a few old styles I used to do that I think would be nice to revisit. For this next one I wanted to do something where there are border lines on the render itself. This eventually resulted in this:
Posted Image

To make the border lines really work, I first darkened the background (in contrast to the like render) so it would really same like the lines were fading away. Then I added in the border lines that would continually get smaller and darker to illustrate the effect of fading away. Then I decided to add a lens flare just under the cloud's face to increase the contrast just a little more. To top things off, when I was adding in the text I noticed the empty space in the background and decided to take advantage of it by rotating the text to fit in it. My next 2 big ideas that I want to work on is render wrapping and dark glowing (which probably don't make sense yet, but should when I'm done them)
