What's up ya'll. This is m16dernwa...... yeah, not gonna lie, that was a pretty hilarious (and cringy) username. What a mouthful. Anyways, I was going through some of my old videos recently, and I was getting a little nostalgic about PTD. Figured I'd check to see if the forums are still around, which kind of surprisingly, they still are, though understandably, a bit empty.

Back in the PTD days... I was an edgy teen punk looking for trouble on the interwebz.
Now, I'm a full stack .NET dev. script kitty no more.

I found the game after my younger sister raved about it from some flash game site. After playing for a couple of weeks, got hooked, and in time, decided to make a youtube channel about it.

Why did I stop making videos
I'm always surprised when I get a Google+ notification in 2018 from some person begging for more PTD videos. I'm like... come on man... play siege or something (overwatch, csgo.... a modern title). I don't even think chrome supports flash anymore. After GraphicForce's channel was closed, I lost much of the motivation to make videos. The competition in making videos, trying to one up each other, was more entertaining than actually playing the game. Then... a couple of years later, PTD had finally run its course, and I moved on.

Thanks for the good memories. PTD was definitely an unique moment in time on the internet. Right on the cusp of mass smartphone adoption and before machine learning, html5, JS frameworks, etc. A transition between the legacy internet and a new era. The last hurrah for flash gaming.
