They say good things come in threes, and that age-old rule certainly rings true when it comes to sneaker collaborations. Taiwan-based boutique PHANTACi and New Balance have joined forces for the third time to create a “NEW BORN” three-pack of new balance 247 homme soldes, aiming to both break traditional rules and add a touch of modern fashion. The collection is split into three S’s: Street (blue), Sport (pink), and Style (white). The “Street” features a playful look with its bold blue upper and drip-effect pink midsole, the “Sport” projects an air of speed with its textured upper and three-piece black/white/pink look, and the “Style” offers a precise white upper with small pink hits for an understated touch of flair. Feeling one of the unique looks?
New Balance will introduce the new balance 420 bordeaux, a fully reflective sneaker built on the vintage 1970s New Balance 420 running sneaker. The Reflective 420 was created in collaboration with design house, DDCLA, spearheaded by DDCLAB co-owners and recently-named NB Lifestyle Creative Directors, Savania Davies-Keiller and Roberto Crivello. The limited edition shoe features a reflective textile made by a thin layer of tiny glass beads that cooperate with a reflective agent. This Schoeller Switzerland made fabric is scuff and tear resistant, water and dirt repellent and is used on the entire shoe’s upper for the first time.
Taiwanese premium retailer Invincible is set to take its collaborative efforts back to New Balance for a brand new take on the iconic new balance 574 femme pas cher silhouette. Having previously worked on models the likes of the 1400, the two entities have a rapport that has led to another collaboration that will undoubtedly entice consumers. Dressed in dark hues, Invincible decided to use multiple materials on the sneaker to give it life, with shaggy suede around one of its mudguards, and smooth on the upper. That mix-and-match aesthetic continues throughout the rest of this offering, as elements the likes of its patented “N” branding as well as its heel switch on and off from the left sneaker to the right. A light grey instep, heel stamp, and midsole provide the 574 with nice contrast, to match its co-branded NB and Invincible insole.
After first releasing this May, New Balance’s new balance femme soldes sneakers—has dropped in a two-shoe “Statement Pack.” Drawing inspiration from the brand’s 99X series, the shoe features a retro-styled chunky midsole made with REVlite foam for a combination of old-school style and modern day performance. The upper is a new take on various models in the Boston-based brand’s legendary 99 line, boasting a modern-day one-piece forefoot design with a classic suede midfoot overlay and a mesh heel. Dressed in both a sporty black/navy/green and a stately sea salt/bone, this head-turning new fusion silhouette is available now.
