Marowak is altered because of the skull it wears and from the stress it gets.

Its practically a teen version of kangaskan

It is true pokemon creators were trying to make the pre evolution of kangaskan but decided to use cubone. So when they tried to delete the kangaskan baby coding they left something out creating Missingno

Sorry to go against you but MissingNo. wasn't necessarily for Kangaskhan; MissingNo. worked as a fail-to-safe so if the game encountered an error in the coding it wouldn't bug out.

Not true. The RBY-games had a fully stacked memory, i.e. there are no null pointers. If that doesn't make sense, let me put it this way:

Let's say the memory of the game is a piece of paper. Once you encounter a pokémon, the game chooses a code which corresponds to a specific place on that paper. It reads it from the paper and brings back the information for let's say pidgey.

Now, what if the code sent doesn't correspond to a pokémon? What if doesn't correspond to any data at all?

Normally when this happens to a game, it reads data on some place on that paper that is blank, i.e. it is null. The game then crashes, due to a so called "nullpointerexception". In pokémon RBY, it is never null, which results in some very funny bugs. MissingNo. is not the only thing that may pop up, I promise =)

I got a team consisting of 6 different glitch pokémon, all caught without using any cheating device.

I think the creepy music was a good choice since Marowak died (which is awful and making Marowak the one and only pokemon that died in the video games). I will never be able to get that sad and somber little tune out of my head.

ART. ART EVERYWHERE.
Ahhh, Lavender Town. When I first played Leaf Green in the tender 3rd Grade, I would train my Pokemon with the twins outside of Lavender on Route 8 (the ones with Clefairy and Jigglypuff). To restore health, I'd go to the Lavender Town Pokemon Center. Here's the thing, though: the theme scared my young self to pieces. I would use the bike to do a b-line to the Pokemon Center, then bike all the way back before I had to hear the theme XD Silly me. I should have turned the sound off.

I think they should've added creepier tunes to the graveyards in the other generations.
They still seem pretty lively for a graveyard to me. xD

I Probably shouldn't pull back this older thread but just wanted to give people from earlier a bit of info. I believe Someone was asking why it is called creepypasta. It's an internet term derived from copypasta which is a pun on copy/pasting with computers. It means that what you are posting is both an often reposted story and also one that contains creepy or disturbing images or ideas. Again, sorry for bringing this up but really wanted to explain it.
