Video Game References (outside its own series)

Spread you wings and take flight.
I've been having a nostalgia feeling in me recently, and I want to spread it over the forum. Video game references are everywhere, music, literature, etc. But, some games have little references to other games. For example:

I've been playing Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack In Time recently, and came across this reference. And yes, this should be easily recognizable.
Reference in here

Now I want you guys to post references that you know of. Text, pictures, flash, all are accepted to post. Just make sure there isn't any...*eh hem* inappropriate content or spamming. Anyway, have fun

Resident Speedrunner
Super Mario RPG. Final Fantasy Reference. (though the character is not a real final fantasy character, the crystals are in a lot of FF games, and he looks somewhat similar to Kefka's final form...)

played that game, was so happy when I finally beat him (HINT, HAVE PEACH WITH YOU)
anyway, I have another to share:

At the end of Donkey Kong Country 2 (snes cart, taken out of the gba port), you get this screen, witch reflect on how many DK coins you obtained though the game.

Kind of hard to see (only image I could find of this), but in the bottom right corner, you see next to a trash can: a pair of red shoes, a blaster, and a sign saying "No Hoppers".
If you're an old school gamer, then you can see this is showing a reference to sonic the hedgehog (shoes) and earthworm jim (blaster). This means that this was the closest that mario and sonic were together in a game, and for that time, that's shocking.
