thier all good matters what u like but i say pearl or diamond, or the other one (girtina) the landscape is beutiful, there are many min games and many other things to do. going underground is sick and there are alot of features. if want the games for just pokemon and legendariwes then get SS/HG i like soulsilver but thats me. theres more gameplay due to te fact that its two regions not one.

See I was thinking about getting HeartGold because I'm familiar with it and i like the idea of the Pokewalker. I Heard that Diamond and Pearl were good though, so I wasn't sure.
can you catch giatina in diamond and pearl? i didn't know if he was like rayquaza in gen 3.

You can catch him, but its not till post game and he is really hard to catch. If you get Platinum, you get Giritina during the story and you can get Dialga and Palkia during post game. So its either two dragon legendary without trading or all three.

Either Platinum or Black/White. The 3D graphics are top-notch in the latter. If R/B/Y had those graphics, I'd pay $200 for it :D

Who's with me? :D

Yes :D

The only story differences are the main legendary Pokemon (Giratina for Platinum, Dialga for Diamond, Palkia for Pearl).

So platinum between it and diamond or pearl. I just have DSi, not a 3DS, so should I stick with Gen 4?

What do you mean? Oo You don't need a 3DS for Black/White xD

You've got it ALL mixed up :) You just need a DSi for Black and White :)

Oh ok. You said something about the 3D graphics so I just made an assumption. I've heard that Black/White is terrible though.

I might buy both and Platinum first. I don't know though since I have limited funds... (still in high school and play sports so I don't have time for a job)

And no, your "spam" is helping me make a decision.

Black and White have amazing gameplay but once your done, there isnt much to it.
I have HG SS myself and recommend it as its like 2 games in 1.
A game that I recommend very much is the newest Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. Amazing music and storyline and fun gameplay.

Is the PokeWalker feature worth it for HG SS, or should i just get a used cartridge only for cheaper? If I get one of those.

Get it used. The PokeWalker may look cool but it gets boring after awhile and you end up just dropping it. Save yourself the money and get it used.

It's up to you. Go online, look for some reviews. In the end, we're just guiding you.
And the PokeWalker pokemon are pretty awefull and when they start to get good, they take too much effort its not even worth it.

Since Gen 3 was the last you played I recommend getting Platinum then going for B/W later. Just so you can learn all the Pokemon from the latest two gens. Eventually you should get HG/SS, but only if you want Pokemon of there in B/W. As for wher to get them Amazon would probably be the best.

Personally, I would choose Pokemon Diamond and Pearl as I found this game very enjoyable to play. I also followed the story very closely. 4th generation for the win!
