Just so you're all not confused, here's what happened earlier today: Forum was spammed by a member known as KingTyra (was nothing major, just some really bad spelling and terrible "insults", if you can even call them that). Also claimed to call himself "imortal", note the spelling mistake. I'm sure he'll find if he jumps in front of a bus; he'd die. THUS he is not "imortal". But anyway, moving on. The IP address matched our Samzy: Spoiler: click to toggle Further investigations of his IP shows he has many different IP's linked to his account. This is common if you visit the forums via wifi, or if your modem resets IP each time you turn it off and on. Spoiler: click to toggle After looking into some of the other IP's, we find various other logins, though some (like the bank) are known. Spoiler: click to toggle Demoted until further notice. It's a tough call to be honest. I trust Samzy more than some of my family haha. Link has also not done much recently, and has been demoted for security purposes. His account is always licensed to administration, he just needs to ask for it and I'll re-enable it. However, if he's not using it, then it's just an account waiting to be bypassed. Other mods were demoted today for lack of activity in recent days. To be fair, most mods have been inactive, however some of them (the one's that are still on the team) have done -something- useful. IE archive topics, participate in the camp or/and chatting with you guys via topics. All in all, we have a new team and half a year ahead of us until 2013. Let's keep rolling  Cheers all. GForce

Well... the demotions explains that topic in the staff room, where you posted, and I quote: "Only 3 people replying here, not very good. I'm demoting several moderators over the next few days." In which I thought you were joking. And it's sad with Samzy. I trusted him since way back in PTDEvolution. I hope we can get by this and keep this friendship. I trust him more than a lot of the people here on the forums. |

Exactly! Hence why he's demoted, not banned. I'm giving Samzy as much time as possible to try and explain and see this evidence and hopefully together come to a solution. As I said, I trust Samzy a lot more than many others, and this is hard to believe, even with this much evidence. Thanks everyone for being understanding ^^ It's a lot to swallow in one go. |

Am I the only that sees, from the first picture, that Samzy's and Tyra's usage of that IP address occur over different time periods? Samzy used it for a week in April whereas Tyra used it from May until June. There's nearly a month difference between the time the Samzy last used it to the time that Tyra first used it. Maybe I'm just looking at it wrong but surely Samzy would have used his account between April and now if that was his IP address. Unless, of course, he is able to change his IP at will. |

Doesn't anyone else see that the link looks a little tenuous? Refer to my previous post for clarification. And doesn't the fact that he has lots of different IPs make it less likely that he was behind KingTyra's spam attack? |

I guess that's my phone using loads of different internet connections as it randomly connects to the nearest available one. Besides, I'm no techno-wiz anyway and I wouldn't know how to change said IP address (is that even possible, seeing as it's a fixed connection?) Anyway I'm intent on proving my innocence  And thanks for all those who believe in me and have faith it wasn't actually me spamming.
