ok blah blah blah paintball blah blah blah new gun blah blah blah.

ok so basically i want to order a new paintball gun, and im trying to customize the colors on it so i can see what it would like like.

i took this picture

and well turned it into this..

the black like that doesnt really bother me. what im having trouble with is getting a good color match of the blue onto other parts of the white. the gloss look is kind of throwing me off i guess because the white is more of a dust/matte finish.

anyone got any ideas?

I think a Lightish orange would look good with the blue you have :)

Or a yellow.
Personally I think it looks good the way it is.
Also, if you darken the blue and saturate it, you can add some black for another option.

thats all i can do. i was wondering if it was possible to get a better color match of the other blue so i could get a better idea of what it would look like.

I can try this but I can't promise anything.
I can try to tiny just that area blue, but not anything too pro.
I'll post back here soon when I finish.
Yeah... like I said.. looks pretty bad.
Because it's white, it's hard to monochrome it since the result will be just as light as the white.
If you want to use my pic or tinker with it feel free to.

well there is 1 tyhing to do to make it darker (sorry im l;ost so i think ur trying to make it lighter but im not sure >.< ) u can go on the brightness and contrast and decrease the brightness. another thing that will take a long time but effective will be to use magnetic lasso or inatuative scissors and highlight the blue parts. then just darken them with that option forgot what it was called >.< hope i helped

Not that I can help with this...
But you mean you want the part that Red colored blue in metallic (the same blue as the other parts) instead of matte?

Of the top of my head I probably would create a photofilter using the blue of the other parts, then use a layer mask so it only shows up on those bits.
