That's right! It's free from Adobe themselves. Sick of GIMP and paint? Download now:

http://www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/index.html

Serial is beside the download link.

Enjoy.

I saw that on Gizmodo, it is pretty awesome.

That is the version of Photoshop that I grew up on. I used that version for 5 or 6 years.

The program stuffs is pretty old, but still quite useful. I believe in that version Photoshop and it's GIF creation program ImageReady are actually two programs and not combined together into Photoshop. It does make it a bit annoying to make animated GIFs but that version of Photoshop is still quite serviceable as is.

I honestly don't know what has been added since, but I do know that version of Photoshop still has many many capabilities. So if you don't have Photoshop, I would highly recommend getting it!

Hopefully this is better than the newer versions of photoshop. Those are too buggy with too many glitches. I reccomend you get this instead of those

?

I have never encountered a glitch on Photoshop regardless of what version I was using, and I have used CS2, CS5, CS5.5, and am currently using CS6.

What platform are you using? Mac?

Nope I have windows. When I use CS5 it randomly closes on me sometimes. When I use CS6 I can blur or sharpen or photoshop would close.

Huh, well I'm used to CS3, however that is on an iMac, so this will be a definite difference if I choose to download it (probably will ;) )

A question here:
I have Photoshop Elements 10, is Photoshop CS2 better or should I just keep Elements 10?
I know nothing about CS2, except the interface is uglier than Elements xP

To be honest, I have no idea. I don't know what the Photoshop Elements interface looks like. I just know that the Photoshop interface really hasn't changed until CS6 and that was only to change the main default color scheme to a dark color scheme.

You might want to read the page; this is a dowload for people who purchased CS2 legally

You don't have to pay, but you aren't supposed to download it unless you already paid for it.

Adobe are smartypants. If they didn't want folk like us getting it, they'd make you register an account, input a legit serial and all that jazz, they wouldn't give it to you and say "please don't steal LOL".

I disagree. If Adobe says, Please don't download this unless you bought it earlier and need to be able to continue using it, then they expect you to listen to them. If they were making it available for free, they would have said so.
