TIME TO DESTROY PANDORIA ONCE AND FOR ALL, WITH THIS WORD PROBLEM! There are 3 apples in a bunch. What is the square root of -3(SQUAREROOTSIGNBEGIN)3to-the-power-of-2-4(9)(81)(SQUAREROOTSIGNEND) if all is divided by 6, in which Timmy is traveling 2.15 miles, where the radius of the circle is 4.183. |

The posts in the clubs are starting to look like spams to me now Socrates, nobody is posting seriously enough. Looks like they're using the clubs to increase their post count. As the maker of this club, it is your responsibility to keep the topic serious and intact and I still say that you have to provide us with topics for proper discussion and then, decide when to end them. -.- Act stronger, Socrates. The fact that there is no proper discussion going on in the clubs is now getting on my nerves.

Spamming? In my club? How dare they! Get back in line, all of you! We need order! Remember, we are going to be carefully obeying the rules laid down is Serious Bussiness from this point forth. And now a serious topic to discuss. Maintaining perfectly stringent PGN and chat rules vs. having more flexability with those rules. Topic start... GO! PS. Thank you for pointing out the craziness. I'll be on a better lookout now. |

Well, I say that the chat rules are good and intact, but sometimes, things get crazy in there. Weird and abusive people from the outside world enter the chat a lot and speak all sorts of wrong stuff. Many spam a whole lot and everything. But, they are banned. The rules are hence fine. It had gotten too strict once, but it has gotten back on track now. As for the PGN rules, I support them too! They're not very strict and Gforce beings in a light mood every now and then himself too. If it were any lenient, I'm not sure it would be fine. :/ Members would go out of hand. Sometimes, rules turned out to seem strict or lenient according to the new mods appointed. I remember it had gotten too strict once, but again, now it is back to normal. I think that there should be a little flexability, but not too much. Like, enforced well, but yet not to the point that no one learns from the rules. |

But there is a difference between debating about math and spamming... And people are taking advantage of this. We need to keep it serious. |

As I was going to St Ives I met a man with seven wives Every wife had seven sacks Every sack had seven cats Every cat had seven kits Kits, cats, sacks, wives How many were going to St Ives? Debate! Which answer/outcome do you think should be right? ![]() There are many answers to this question. ^.^ But, some people find only ONE of the answers agreeable and the others wrong, or some even find them all right, or even, all wrong. Here you will find further details if you don't have time to calculate yourself: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/As_I_was_going_to_St_Ives So, which one do you feel is the right answer? I agree. There was said no where that these people and sacks and cats were going to St. Ives. Alternatively, if they were going, there could be many more going to St. Ives that hadn't been mentioned. |

There were only nine People going. Forget sacks and cats and kittens. People is that which we are concerned with here, right? |

If it's people, then it is 9. If it included wives, sacks, cats and kittens, then the answer is 2403. |

In that case, it would be 345 living things going to St. Ives. |

That doesn't sound right... I found 2354, following your thinking 2403 things going... (2403-49(the amount of sacks)=2354) |
