I don't really enjoy modern music. I like Classical music though. |

Modern music sucks imo. But I also like Classical music. I enjoy listening to movie soundtracks. Especially HANS ZIMMER!! That man is an absolute genius! |

Yes, modern music these days is loosing it's meaning. ![]() Although some songs are really fun to listen to! I'm not a big fan of the classics, but I do like songs that hold good rhythm, fun and lyrics that are meaningful. Owl City for example. ^.^ The music Fireflies had become a great hit! ![]() http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=psuRGfAaju4&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DpsuRGfAaju4 |

I do like that song! It was a big hit a couple of years ago, here in America. Unfortunately, the radio is dominated by Beiber and One Direction. Although one of the newer groups I like is Imagine Dragons. They have some good stuff. Check it out if you haven't. |

*Sigh* Indeed it is, Augustus... What I like to think is if it isn't going to be popular, say, ten years from now, why make it popular now? Now is only a fleeting moment that can never truly be grasped, so you are really cheating yourselves if you just forget about your favorite songs from ten minutes ago for a "New" one. |

Perfectly stated, my friend. It means nothing if a song is a hit for one summer if it will have no impact 10 or 20 years later. The Beatles, Marley, Michael Jackson and other greats made multiple songs that have transcended the years, something Beiber has not done and probably will never do. |

And look at great music such as Ode to Joy and such. That has survived for centuries. |
